Its My Party and I’ll smile if I want to.

Hey, Fingerprints I hope you are all having a lovely Friday 2nd October. Today as you may have guessed from my many tweets. Its My Birthday, My real one not the blog one and today I have turned 23. Yipeee. Its also #WorldSmileDay. So i am sharing my smile with you all.

Since Its My Birthday I want to share a few of my favorite bloggers with you all.

I will start with @weekonthestreet Now I absolutely love this blog and I love everything they do for autism. Next Year for my birthday I plan on attending their Black and White Ball in Swansea it will be amazing to meet up with Tom and finally let a few of you know my real identity without compromising it at home.  They do so much work for early intervention for Kids with Autism it is truly inspiring what they do. I know that I am just one girl fighting for autism but I plan one day to bring together a community here in Northern Ireland, parents, carers and people on the spectrum to help fight for change and harking back to my Instagram post Tanya Burr’s global goals. I hope to one day fight for inequality. But it is people like Tom who have inspired me to do so.

Secondly on my list of Ausome Bloggers is not actually a blogger but is a HUGE Autism Ambassador @AnnaKennedy1 Anna Kennedy is an OBE holder and should be very proud of the work she does in the name of autism. She is the founder of Autism’s Got Talent and she was a finalist on the People’s Strictly Well Done Anna I was watching you with pride. She runs so many projects for Autism. Her most recent being Wear it for Autism, a charity fashion show held in London this Sunday. I know my fingerprints in London will show her lots of love and support.

Finally for this post I want to mention  She is an inspirational woman. She takes what she has learned about autism and breaks it down for you to understand. I love her article If you don’t know what to say, say this. It was brilliant, so warm and heartfeltly written. Go now to her blog http://linkis.com/autism-mom.com/2015/vGmDl and read it you will not regret those five mins because I certainly don’t.

At the end of July when I was initially planning on blogging again after a hiatus to try and find work, I read so many blogs on autism to see what kind of autism blog people read and what kind of blog I could create and s blog was one of the first i read along with so many others. At Halloween or Samhain whatever you prefer to call it. I will create a list of all the bloggers I read and give you the links to thier blogs and their social media so you can keep up to date with everyone.

Anyways for now I shall send my smiles to you and catch you on Sunday with a slightly less happy blog. Till Then

Smile Fingerprints and remember JOAG Loves You all.

My About for 2016. Tada! LOL I am JOAG, Joag is a fictional character I created to help me write about Autism. JOAG is an acronym for Just One Autistic Girl. JOAG is a unique individual with a passion for autism. Now this year I am taking the blog a step further. Joag is creating a website. Not Just any website A web forum based on autism. creating a safe place for those on the spectrum. In my blog I tell personal stories my personal stories not some fictitious nonsense I make up to make my blog seem more relevant to you. Now I want a personal goal for me. I want to do something for me. Each day I want to be inspiring I am going to run 2 miles everyday. 2 Miles a day times 365 days. 730 Miles is doable and it’s a good start for someone just getting started. But my goal for the blog and site this year is the intervention for bullying. I don't have a stat yet for the number of people in the world with autism. But we do know that it touches 2.8 mil people a day How many people are bullied on the spectrum? How many are silent sufferers? How long will we let this go on?
