Related spectral conditions

Ok, guys stick with me here. It’s another new series. The reason I am using series is to help me plan out what I want to write about and breaking one idea up into series’ lets me explore and develop each individual point. Take for example my senses series. One blog would have overloaded you all with info.
So sit back and have a cuppa whilst I explain what my new series is.

Related Spectral conditions.

Today I want to break down the venn of related conditions. Each bubble will be its own post so as I say bare with me its gonna be a long ol road.

ASD

Starting at the top. We have:

  1. ODD,
  2. Specific Learning Difficulties,
  3. ADHD,
  4. Anxiety,
  5. Tourettes,
  6. OCD,
  7. Developmental Co-Ordination Disorder – Dyspraxia
  8. Gifted,
  9. Sensory Integration Disorder,
  10. Auditory Processing,
  11. Depression
  12. ADD

So over the next 12 Sundays I will be taking each of these 12 related conditions, and looking directly in detail at how they affect our lives, don’t be worried if you see Louis Theroux mentioned a few times, I have a few documentaries to watch about these conditions and a few TED Talks too.

But before signing off for today and look for more work because blogging doesn’t bring in a paycheck and nor do I want it to. I write because I love to learn and inform others.

I want to talk to you about why I chose this series to take us up to Christmas time, well on Sundays any way. I know i remain anon to you all, but I know people with these conditions and I suffer with them myself, some of them anyway.  i.e. Dyspraxia, Anxiety, Auditory Processing, and mild undiagnosed depression. So again back to the point of why, knowing that I have these conditions has inspired me to learn more about every aspect of my autism and not only do I want to learn so that I can help others get the right information.

My About for 2016. Tada! LOL I am JOAG, Joag is a fictional character I created to help me write about Autism. JOAG is an acronym for Just One Autistic Girl. JOAG is a unique individual with a passion for autism. Now this year I am taking the blog a step further. Joag is creating a website. Not Just any website A web forum based on autism. creating a safe place for those on the spectrum. In my blog I tell personal stories my personal stories not some fictitious nonsense I make up to make my blog seem more relevant to you. Now I want a personal goal for me. I want to do something for me. Each day I want to be inspiring I am going to run 2 miles everyday. 2 Miles a day times 365 days. 730 Miles is doable and it’s a good start for someone just getting started. But my goal for the blog and site this year is the intervention for bullying. I don't have a stat yet for the number of people in the world with autism. But we do know that it touches 2.8 mil people a day How many people are bullied on the spectrum? How many are silent sufferers? How long will we let this go on?
