Well Hey Guys Im Here with a very special post. It came to my attention late last night that the media was drumming up support for autism. But one neurotypical seemed to think it was appropriate to verbally abuse a woman whose children were stimming to cope after having a sensory overload.
I’m sure this mother was humiliated. Having such a public display of abuse from a complete stranger. Now these children have been mentally scarred and are scared to go outside in case of a repeat incident.
His wife stepped in to defend his actions yet he still persisted to accuse the mother of being a disgrace as a parent. Now being a parent whether your child has special needs or not. Hearing you are a disgrace as a mother would obviously be very distressing.
I want to send my best wishes to those beautiful boys and tell them not everyone in the world feels they are weird. They Are AUSOME!!!!

Now On to the Brighter to story
A mother has been in touch with the local media to help her 23 year old son’s obsession with the london underground. He wants to know how many platforms there are in London’s 270 underground stations. More than 700 people responded to her within 3 days.
This is an example of how brilliant and understanding some of our Neurotypicals can be

My About for 2016. Tada! LOL
I am JOAG, Joag is a fictional character I created to help me write about Autism. JOAG is an acronym for Just One Autistic Girl. JOAG is a unique individual with a passion for autism. Now this year I am taking the blog a step further. Joag is creating a website. Not Just any website A web forum based on autism. creating a safe place for those on the spectrum.
In my blog I tell personal stories my personal stories not some fictitious nonsense I make up to make my blog seem more relevant to you.
Now I want a personal goal for me.
I want to do something for me.
Each day I want to be inspiring I am going to run 2 miles everyday. 2 Miles a day times 365 days. 730 Miles is doable and it’s a good start for someone just getting started.
But my goal for the blog and site this year is the intervention for bullying. I don't have a stat yet for the number of people in the world with autism. But we do know that it touches 2.8 mil people a day
How many people are bullied on the spectrum?
How many are silent sufferers?
How long will we let this go on?
